Value education refers to the process of teaching and learning that focuses on instilling essential moral, ethical, social, and cultural values in individuals. It aims to develop well-rounded personalities by nurturing qualities like empathy, integrity, responsibility, respect, and compassion. Value education goes beyond academic knowledge to shape character, behavior, and attitudes, enabling individuals to make ethical decisions and contribute positively to society.

It’s not a myth; it’s a fact.

It’s not a myth; it’s a fact. You will get results at work. You will be happy with the results and will want to get more. We are usually very happy when we hear this. Many, if not all, think that this time I will not waste time; I will stick to it; I will not waste my life, and I will build it beautifully and carefully. I may start a habit someday. But for the most part, this enthusiasm does not hold; it is quickly lost. It’s like a physical change in school—the water turns to ice when it’s cold, but
Actually, the inside of it does not change; the properties of the water molecules remain the same, and if you put it outside, the heat becomes ice water! A permanent change in a substance is a chemical change; that is, when the molecules inside it change, other molecules are formed, and their properties change. For example, if hydrogen and oxygen molecules are formed by passing an electric current through water, the change is permanent; they cannot be easily converted back into water. And they’re different religions.

We don’t have to make physical or chemical changes.

We don’t have to make physical or chemical changes. That example means that permanent changes have to be made in life. Such a permanent change in the direction of good does not happen on its own; it has to be constantly tried by being aware, but it happens. And to do that, you have to use force. That is why Swami Vivekananda said that it is not the work of the weak; we want strength. Speak to the body, speak to the mind, and speak to the heart. Swamiji has said that there is infinite energy within us; that energy will begin to awaken when we believe it in our hearts. Only then can we make lasting and lasting change. We want overall change; we have to grow and develop in all aspects. The great potential with which we are born has to be nurtured, and we have to give as much as possible to the country as a beautiful life as that blooming flower.

Let’s look at what this change means (Value Education).

Let’s look at what this change means. The way we walk, the way we talk, the way we treat people, the way we do our work, and the way we enjoy ourselves—there is a lot of goodness in that. These qualities need to be enhanced. I am honest; I speak the truth, but I may lie to avoid small problems. If I try a little, I can hold on to the truth. This is honesty. If I achieve honesty well, my self-esteem will increase, my strength of mind will increase, and others will trust me with their eyes closed; they will look at me with high eyes. Let’s see how easy and simple it is! Again, let’s talk about confidence. “I can, I”can”—the more one has this thought, the more one can hold on to this thought. Even if he fails in repeated attempts, he becomes successful in life. If you read Swami Vivekananda’s books every day, these words will be embedded in you again and again. There will be a strong desire to move in this way. After trying once or twice, I can see that my mind is growing stronger. Then, perhaps, one day there was a great shock, and the force of the mind was gone in an instant! But if I have the habit of reading Swamiji’s books, when I read again, or when I see Swamiji’s picture, again I feel, “No, I will not give up, I can, I will fight, I will do better. “

I will try to see—all these qualities of ours are increasing.

I will try to see—all these qualities of ours are increasing. By making regular efforts, a permanent change is taking place inside the body, like a chemical change in matter. Now I naturally, spontaneously think differently and move in a different way. Even if there is a wrong hand from all around, it can’t shake me. That’s what character building is. Good habits have been formed by trying again and again; they have become my nature by sitting inside. Now you don’t have to go the good way by trying separately; your mind is pulling you towards the good.

This can’t be the case everywhere.

This can’t be the case everywhere. Maybe some good qualities manifest in me quite spontaneously, but some are missing because I didn’t notice them before. If I have some inclinations that are not good, that are not right, that are quite strong, what can be done about them? First, let’s look at why they’re not good.
They don’t agree with me, and that’s why I lean in that direction. If you understand it like a scientist, then there is no need to think more about it. All you need to do is start moving in the opposite direction. It’s like swimming against the current, so it takes more energy. But like a swimmer, the mind will be towards the destination, and the mindset will be positive. Giving in to negative thoughts like ‘hi hai’ or anxiety will only cause harm. Sri Ramakrishna used to say that if you go towards Kashi, Kolkata will lag behind. If you try to go in such a good direction, things will just keep going away.

Maybe I wasn’t so easily offended.

Maybe I wasn’t so easily offended. Now, as soon as I start getting angry, I become aware and fill my mind with healthy thoughts and love. I’ve failed at getting rid of anger directly before, but now I’ll see where the anger disappears from you under the influence of love and good thoughts!

For the energy required to continue such efforts,

For the energy required to continue such efforts, first of all, a healthy, strong body and a slow, steady, cheerful mind are needed. Therefore, in addition to eating, you need to exercise every day. You need food; you need exercise. Food means that which we take from outside and give input. The nutritious food for the young minds is the life and sayings of Swamiji and the books of the Mahamandal. When you eat too much, you don’t want to eat. The way is to think about what I read, understand it well, and understand the meaning and significance of what I like.

Think deep; contemplate again and again.

Think deep; contemplate again and again. Then we can accept them. But it was not implemented properly. Putting thoughts into action, putting it into action, is the exercise of the mind. This practice will continue throughout the day. Every thought or thought separately is not always remembered; it is not necessary if we use our intellect to judge good and bad, right and wrong, and do the right thing. Wisdom has many uses. This particular use is what we call ‘conscience.’. “The word” “conscience” “has a deeper meaning, but simply for us it is the application of conscience.” All you have to do is keep your mind awake all day.

Even if there is some exercise in the body during the day

Even if there is some exercise in the body during the day, it is necessary to exercise separately to get good results, just like that—even if you use your conscience throughout the day, a separate exercise for the mind gives very good results. That is mindfulness—the practice of increasing concentration of mind. At the beginning of the meditation, one has to pray for the welfare of all. It can be called a heart exercise. The greatest gift of human life is unselfish love. After reading the biography of Swamiji and other great men, I will see that what makes them unique, what makes them revered by all, is not their physical strength, sharpness of intellect, or organizational ability, but their heart, which has felt strongly for all, especially for the suffering people. They have dedicated their lives for the welfare of all. They have struggled all their lives for each other. As you read these stories, you will be moved. We need to apply that feeling in our lives through well-being, prayer, and as little selfless service as possible. The way to increase any power is its proper application or use. The more you use it, the more powerful it becomes. The more you use it, the less power it will have. Its exercise is the regular application or use of power.

If you think about it

If you think about it, you will realize that there are three elements in human structure.
Body, mind, and heart. The development of all three together with the help of diet and exercise is called harmonious development; only the strength of body and mind increases, but people who do not have love in their hearts can become selfish demons, and we are seeing what happens if such people are in power in different areas of the country. Again, there is love in the heart, there is feeling for others, there is a desire to do something, but there is no intelligence or strength of mind to understand what needs to be done—even that will not work. And the body needs energy to function. So we have to try to develop harmony in life.

Conclusion

Character building and harmonious development of body, mind, and heart but understanding the same thing from two sides. All of this is called life. In this, such wonderful changes take place in oneself; such lasting changes take effect that an ordinary teenager or youth no longer remains’ ordinary ‘but becomesextraordinary.”. Lakhs of such outstanding youth will have to be created across the country; then only the miseries of the people of the country will be removed, and a new glorious India will be built. But it starts with you. Come on, let’s not be late.
